05 Nights/06 Days Golden Triangle & Pushkar Tour Itinerary

 Day 01: Delhi

After Breakfast in the hotel full day visits to the Old Town (Shahajahanabad), Red Fort and the Friday Mosque “Jama Masjid” with round riscio pedal on the streets of Old Delhi. Here visit to New Delhi with its most important monuments: the palaces of government colonies before the India Gate, Humayun’s Mausoleum and the complex Qutub Minar. Overnight at hotel. 

Day 02: Delhi – Agra

After breakfast drive to Agra. (200 Kms/ 4 hours). Arrive Agra and visit Agra Fort. Later transfer to the hotel. Check in. Post lunch visit  Taj Mahal built by Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Evening free / shopping. Over night at the hotel 

Day 03: Agra – Jaipur

Breakfast at hotel. Then Proceed to Jaipur. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.

Arrive Jaipur & check in at hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Jaipur. 

Day 04: Jaipur

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning visit Amber Fort by Elephant Ride. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back.

Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer. There after visit Maharaja’s City Palace and the Observatory. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight at Jaipur 

Day 05: Jaipur – Pushkar – Delhi

Early morning, check out from the hotel after breakfast and set out for the holy town of Pushkar. Visit the only Brahma temple in India, the Savitri temple and the three sacred lakes of Pushkar, Rajasthan, India. Afterwards, drive back to Delhi in the evening, from where you would be directly transferred to the airport/ railway station for the journey back home.
